1.) Do you think that using these types advertisements are a good idea (Google and Amazon ones)? What are some of the pro's and con's of using a site like these?
2.) Do you think this is an idea we could apply to our websites?
3.) If this were applied to our website and we began making money, do you think it would be a good idea to keep using these ways to get money (Google and Amazon)?
4.) Big business sells their own ads, what would be the difference between me selling an ad for my own site versus big business selling one for theirs?

While I do believe that using these types of advertisements is a good idea, I don't think we can really apply these to our websites. It mentions that in order to make a $36,500 profit you would need to make $100 a day... quite frankly, I don't think our small niche sites would bring in that revenue. Perhaps if we combined all of our Web sites into one broad site for the Waverly/Wartburg area we could use these. I also think these sorts of advertisements are more beneficial for people who have to pay to set up the sites, pay for the URL, etc. I don't think our sites would generate nearly enough traffic necessary to make a profit.
I think it's a good idea because people can look at an ad if they want to or just ignore it if they don't. They also don't have to worry about pop-ups. Like Brittany said, I don't think we would make a huge profit. Our Websites don't get enough traffic and Waverly is too small of an area. If we wanted to really make a profit, I think we would have to do more to promote our Websites.
